Privacy Policy
Last Updated: February 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Ravenie ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information obtained from individuals using the Ravenie non-custodial wallet application, website, and related features (collectively, the "Services"). Ravenie is a non-custodial Solana-based wallet: you retain full control over your private keys, seed phrases, and digital assets. We do not store, access, or control your private keys, seed phrases, wallet contents, or transaction details beyond what is necessary for on-device functionality.
We value your privacy and collect minimal information. No name, email address, phone number, or other personal identifiers are required to use core wallet features.
Your use of the Services is subject to this Policy and our Terms of Service.
The Information We Collect
We collect limited information directly from you, automatically through your use of the Services, and in some cases from other sources.
Information We Collect Directly From You
If you contact support, submit feedback, or sign up for optional communications (e.g., newsletters), we may collect your email address and message content. We do not require or collect personal identifiers for basic wallet use.
Information We Collect Automatically
When you use the Services or visit our website, we may collect non-personal information such as:
- Device and browser details (type, operating system, hardware identifiers).
- Usage data (access times, pages/features viewed, interactions).
- IP addresses (processed temporarily for security, fraud prevention, approximate location, and legal compliance; not used for marketing except where legally required; not linked to your wallet or other identifying information).
- Public blockchain data (e.g., transaction hashes visible on-chain) accessed for functionality but not stored by us.
Information We Collect from Other Sources
If you interact with third-party services through the app (e.g., for swaps or RPC connections), those providers may share limited data with us as authorized by you.
What We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect, store, or access your private keys, seed phrases, wallet addresses (beyond temporary on-chain reads), balances, full transaction histories, or any sensitive financial data. All such information remains solely on your device.
We do not collect sensitive personal information for profiling or automated inferences. Any device-level biometric authentication (e.g., Face ID or fingerprint) is handled entirely on your device and not collected or transmitted to us.
How We Use The Information We Collect
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services (including enabling wallet features and processing any applicable fees).
- Respond to inquiries, provide support, and communicate with you.
- Improve and develop the Services (e.g., analyze aggregated usage for bug fixes and enhancements).
- Prevent fraud, ensure security, and comply with legal obligations.
- Send optional marketing communications (if you opt in).
We do not use your information for marketing without consent.
We process personal information on the following legal bases under applicable data protection laws (such as the GDPR where relevant):
- Necessity for the performance of our contract with you (e.g., providing wallet functionality and support).
- Our legitimate interests (e.g., fraud prevention, security, service improvement via aggregated analytics), provided they do not override your rights and interests.
- Your consent (e.g., for optional marketing communications or certain analytics), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Compliance with legal obligations (e.g., responding to lawful requests).
How We Share The Information We Collect
We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
We may share information:
- With your consent or at your direction.
- With service providers, vendors, or contractors (e.g., for hosting, analytics, security) under strict confidentiality agreements.
- In connection with business transfers (e.g., merger or acquisition).
- To comply with legal requirements, respond to lawful requests, prevent fraud/threats, enforce our Terms, or protect rights/safety.
- In aggregated or de-identified form that cannot reasonably be linked back to you.
Third-party services integrated with or linked from the Services (e.g., swap providers, RPC endpoints) are governed by their own privacy policies. We do not control them and are not responsible for their practices.
International Data Transfers
We may transfer and process personal information to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), such as the United States, where our service providers or servers may be located. Such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, to ensure an adequate level of data protection in accordance with GDPR requirements.
Our Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Mechanisms
We may use cookies or similar technologies for basic functionality, analytics, and performance. These help track usage and improve the Services.
- You can disable cookies via your browser settings, though this may limit some features.
- We do not honor browser "do-not-track" signals universally.
- Third-party analytics tools may be used for aggregated usage evaluation.
Third-Party Links
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for them.
Personal Information Choices
- Your Rights — You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold by emailing [email protected]. We will verify your identity and respond in accordance with applicable law (e.g., CCPA, GDPR if relevant). We may retain data as required for legal, security, or operational reasons.
- For California residents under the CCPA/CPRA: We do not sell or share personal information as defined under these laws.
- Marketing Choices — You can opt out of marketing emails or notifications at any time via the provided unsubscribe instructions or app settings.
- Analytics Opt-Out — If we use analytics, users have the option to opt out for enhanced privacy.
Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect collected information. However, no system is completely secure, and transmission over the internet carries risks. You are responsible for securing your device and credentials.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy (e.g., support inquiries as long as needed to resolve them, security/fraud logs for a limited period), to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Once no longer required, we delete or anonymize the data. Note that public blockchain data (e.g., transaction hashes) is immutable and cannot be deleted by us.
Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with a revised "Last Updated" date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (e.g., via the website or app). Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
